Jesus isn't just "great"; Jesus is greater than "great". Jesus is perfect! And Perfection don't need no stinkin' bubblegum cards.

* POSTSCRIPT: "WP&Z!" is something my Ma often said. It stands for Wub, Peace and Zap! Psst... the Zap! originates with the 1966 Batman TV series. (Yes, my entire family was weird. And those of us who remain, still are.)
Did I miss Christmas again?

Perhaps so. You might want to cut down on that Wild Turkey 101, R. Lee Boid! ...Unless it's for "medicinal" purposes, of course.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and may God bless you throughout the new year. Enjoy every second that passes. It'll be Christmas again before we know what happened. Thanks for being such a good friend and brother in Christ, my friend!
ReplyDeleteCAThy, you are the cat's meow!
DeleteThanks for stopping by. Christmas was nice, and I have a good supply of clean sox, underwear and wine stowed away, so I'm as prepared for this coming year as I think I could possibly be.

Merry Happy and all that to ya Saint Mac. Thanks for the email: oh wow, some time ago I made a "drunk" post for the new year, and forgot it until you reminded me to visit the blogs. I saw my own New Years blog post today and thought, uhm wow, how forgetful of me. When did I schedule that?
ReplyDeleteEven though I've been absent here, I've never forgotten to think of all you've gotten up to over the years. Thanks for all the memories.
Oh, DONNA, you Wild Thing ~
Delete>>>... "I made a "drunk" post for the new year, and forgot"
And that line above just reminded me of one of my most-oft used quotes which I invented one boozy day decades ago:
I never drank to forget,
nor forgot to drink.
One must needs a lot of bourbon to have flowed under the bridge to concoct an 80-proof line like that.
Oh, we have many more memories to make. I can almost smell their delicious scent baking in the oven as I type these words.
VERY NICE, PLEASANT SURPRISE to see you here. Don't be a stranger (although even I am something of a stranger here these days).
